Getting started
Is Rallyopp really free?
Yes — the core platform is completely free. You get access to resume analysis, ATS scoring, job search, interview prep, cover letters, salary intelligence, and all 13 tools with no credit card required. We have a Pro plan for power users who want unlimited analyses and premium features, but most people get everything they need on the free plan.
Do I need to create an account?
You need a free account to use the platform. This lets us save your resumes, analysis history, and application tracker so you never lose your work. Sign up takes under 30 seconds with Google or email.
What file formats can I upload?
We support PDF, DOCX (Word), and TXT files for both resumes and job descriptions. PDF is recommended for the best text extraction. All files are parsed in your browser — they never leave your device.
Do I need to paste a job description?
No — job descriptions are optional on all tools. Without one, the analysis provides general career guidance and identifies improvements for your industry. With a job description, the analysis becomes highly targeted to that specific role and company.
Resume analysis
How accurate is the AI analysis?
Our analysis uses Claude (Anthropic) and Llama 3.3 70B — the same AI models used by enterprise HR tools. The analysis reflects real recruiter thinking and ATS behavior based on 2025-2026 hiring data. No AI analysis is perfect, but our users consistently report the recommendations are specific, actionable, and lead to measurable improvements in callback rates.
What is the ATS score and why does it matter?
75% of resumes are rejected by Applicant Tracking Systems before a human ever sees them. Our ATS score uses 15 criteria based on how real ATS platforms (Taleo, Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, iCIMS) actually parse and rank candidates. A score above 65 means you're likely to pass. Below 50, you're probably being filtered out automatically — even if you're qualified.
How does the resume rewrite work?
After analysis, we generate a complete rewrite of your resume tailored to the job description. It rewrites every bullet to lead with strong action verbs and quantified results, adds relevant keywords naturally, and restructures sections for maximum ATS compatibility. You should treat it as a strong first draft — customize it further with your voice and specific details.
How many times can I analyze my resume?
Free accounts get generous monthly analyses. Pro accounts get unlimited analyses. We recommend analyzing your resume separately for each job you apply to — tailored resumes consistently outperform generic ones.
Privacy & data
Is my resume data private?
Yes. Your resume is sent to our AI provider (OpenRouter) for analysis and then discarded — we don't store the full text of your resume on our servers. Your account data (name, email, analysis history summaries) is stored securely. We never sell your data to third parties.
Can I delete my account?
Absolutely. Go to your Profile page → scroll to Account Settings → click "Delete my account." This permanently deletes all your data, analyses, and saved information. This action cannot be undone.
Who can see my resume?
Only you. Your resume is processed by AI for analysis purposes and is not shared with employers, recruiters, or other users without your explicit consent. If you use the Resume Professional Marketplace, you choose which professionals to share your resume with.
Career coaching & professionals
How does the Resume Professional Marketplace work?
Our marketplace connects you with vetted professional resume writers and career coaches. You can browse profiles, read reviews, see pricing, and book a session or resume review. All professionals are background-checked and rated by real users. Coming soon — join the waitlist.
Do you offer layoff support?
Yes — we have a dedicated Layoff Support section with resources specifically for people navigating sudden job loss. This includes emotional support resources, financial guidance, rapid resume refresh, negotiating severance, and connecting with coaches who specialize in career transitions after layoffs.
What does career coaching include?
Career coaching sessions cover: resume and LinkedIn optimization, job search strategy, interview preparation, salary negotiation, career transitions, and personal branding. Sessions are available as one-time consultations or ongoing packages. All coaches on our platform are certified professionals with proven track records.
